Alpha Romeo Wins Sydney To Hobart 2010
Alpha Romeo super maxi took line honours last night by crossing the line at 10:00pm in a time of two days, nine hours, two minutes and 10 seconds.
Making its way up the Derwent in the dark of night to win the 2009 Sydney to Hobart ahead of the much acclaimed rival Wild Oats XI arriving 2 hours and three minutes later for second place.

ICAP Leopard filled third spot closely followed by Investec Loyal, with a celebrity crew including Danny Green and Grant Hackett, for an impressive fourth.
Alfa Romeo skipper Neville Crichton has thanked his 22-strong crew for the win which looked promising from the very start.
Alfa Romeo was first out the Heads from Sydney, from there left Wild Oats XI in her wake when Crichton and crew picked up what turned out to be a race-winning breeze the first morning of the race off Jervis Bay.
The last time Wild Oats XI was beatin in the Sydney to Hobart was back in 2005, when the race record was set of one day, 18 hours, 40 minutes and 10 seconds.
