Earlier this month two British citizens went missing when their sailboat – Waterwave was struck by a large wave as they headed for cover from the rough sea’s off Portugal.
Onlookers stand by atop the sea wall as the wreckage of WaterWave is recovered at Povoa de Varzim harbour entrance, near Porto, Portugal. The sailboat unsuccessfully attempted to enter the harbour at dawn. One man was rescued by nearby fishermen and two others are still reported missing.
